The Medical Practitioners Board of Victoria is a statutory authority that regulates the medical profession in the Australian state of Victoria.〔(Official Website ) Accessed 29 April 2007〕 The operations of the Board are governed by the ''Health Professions Registration Act 2005'', which also governs authorities for other health professions in Victoria. This Act replaced the ''Medical Practice Act 1994'', which governed the Board until 1 July 2007.
